Chaz was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa in the summer of 2018. Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a painful skin condition that tends to affect areas like the armpits, groin, buttocks, and breasts, where skin rubs together. As he would soon learn, there’s no cure for HS, but surgery and medications can help manage symptoms.
