Chris Jansing is an American television news correspondent working for MSNBC serving as an anchor. She joined NBC News in June 1998.

Jansing serves as the anchor of Chris Jansing Reports airing from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET on weekdays on MSNBC. She replaced MTP Daily in May 2022 and took over the show. After her college studies, she interned at a cable station in Columbus, Ohio, and later on joined WIPS a radio station in Ticonderoga, New York. After working for the radio station for several years, she moved on to working for WNYT television in Albany, New York, where she served as a general assignment reporter.

She was later on given a raise and started serving as a weekend anchor and later on the weekly co-anchor. She worked for this station for about 13 years and during this time, she won a New York Emmy Award in 1997. Jansing worked for WNYT for about 17 years and managed to win a New York Emmy Award in 1997 for her encasement of the Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta.

On June 13, 2014, she started serving as a White House Correspondent at NBC.
