Chris Parks is an American Sports Anchor, Reporter, and Producer working for WBTW News 13 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as the Sports Director and Anchor. He joined the station in May 2017 after working for WZVN ABC-7.

In 1999, Parks joined Seneca Valley High School in Harmony, Pennsylvania. He studied there learning his trade, completed high school at that place, and bagged it in 2003. His love for sports remained increased, contributing to his passion for the great world of broadcasting.
After completing his high school education, Parks started his further education at the Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He later earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication and graduated in the year 2007. Before this, he had a similar intern position at FOX Sports Pittsburgh from May 2006 to August 2006. Before that, he completed 3 years working with WZVN ABC-7, Fort Myers, FL in which he was working as a sports anchor and TV reporter only on weekends. During his tenure in Southwest Florida, he covered baseball spring training with Red Sox, Rays, and Twinkies; Golf; and what Florida Gulf University now coined ‘Dunk City’.
Before his adventure to Florida, Parks was playing with talents in Lima, Ohio for half five years in WTLW-44 & WOSN-TV. Here, he worked as the Sports Anchors and Sports Reporter, and Sports Analyst for their 24-7 sports channel. He participated in covering almost 60 high schools and also engaged in numerous shows and specials. More specifically, he was involved in staging their eighty-seven-minute high school football performance that was annual.
Additionally, he worked as a gameday production Staff for the Detroit Tigers from February 2017 to May 2017. There, he edited in-game videos for the big video board and did some Public Address (PA) announcing for some of the Lakeland Flying Tigers contests. He also worked as a sports anchor, reporter, and producer for both ABC-7 and NBC-2.
