Chris Sadeghi Biography

Chris Sadeghi is an American reporter who is working at WFAA in Dallas, Texas, where he specializes in general assignment reporting for WFAA’s Daybreak morning news. In addition, he joined the WFAA team in July 2016. 

Chris Sadeghi Career

Collin County, Dallas, Fort Worth is his native home. He started his reporting career north of Dallas in the Sherman-Denison area. Over the years, he has covered crime and courts including; the trials of the Fort Hood shooter and Chris Kyle’s killer. In addition, while he was on the crime beat. He completed the FBI Citizen’s Academy along with academies in local police departments. Furthermore, while serving as a journalist, he has covered every type of story from the World Series to training with the US Marines, the Texas Capitol, to Hurricane Ike.

Sadeghi attended Allen High School where he graduated proudly. In 2000, he joined The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in radio and television film in 2004. During his leisure time, he enjoys traveling and his favorite cities to visit so far are Lagos, Portugal, Italy, and Venice. In addition, he enjoys working out and is an avid boxing fan, and watching sports.
