She is well known for for her membership in the main cast of comedians on sketch comedy series MADtv, for replacing Lisa Robin Kelly as Laurie Forman on That ’70s Show during the sixth season and for portraying Candy Sullivan in the TNT show Hawthorne. Moore became interested in performing as a young girl at her family’s church by getting involved with the singing and performing programs. When Moore was in high school, she toured with a children’s musical theatre troupe throughout the city of Chicago.

She first professional job was in summer stock in Evansville, Indiana, where she performed in Young Abe: the Abraham Lincoln Boyhood Outdoor Musical Drama. Moore’s theatre credits included roles in stage productions of Cinderella, Annie and Big River.

She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University School of Theatre Arts. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Her television credits included the UPN comedy, The Bad Girl’s Guide and Hyperion Bay.

Moore had recurring roles on Pasadena and Unhappily Ever After, with additional television credits that include guest appearances on Friends, 24, Just Shoot Me!, and Suddenly Susan.

In 1996, Moore appeared in Married… with Children as the Gorgeous Woman in the episode “Twisted.”
