Hurley serves as a weather forecaster at WMTW News 8. She previously worked for WFXV/WUTR/WPNY where she served as the chief meteorologist from April 2019 to June 2022. Prior to that, she worked for KOTA-TV where she served as a meteorologist from November 2016 to July 2018.
Prior to that, she worked for Plymouth State University where she served as a meteorologist and athletic event assistant from September 2012 to May 2016. She also interned at WHDH-TV from June 2015 to August 2015 in Boston, MA. From September 2014 to May 2015, she worked for 91.7 WPCR Plymouth where she served as the weekend weather broadcaster.
From June 2013 to August 2014, she worked at Olde Salt House where she served as a server in Cohasset, MA. In 2016, Hurley graduated from New Hampshire’s Plymouth State University with a meteorology bachelor’s degree. She then got a weather internship at WHDH (7 News) in Boston, Massachusetts. There, she gained broadcast experience and therefore she moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, where she worked as a morning meteorologist. She worked there for a few years before returning to the east.
