Allison joined James Madison University in August 2017 when he finished his studies at South County High School. In December 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Communications emphasizing Public Relations and Theatre.
During his time in college, Allison discovered “Breeze TV” during his sophomore year in early 2019. He began working as a reporter and videographer, chiefly broadcasting arts stories in the local Harrisonburg community. Later, he broadcasted a gas explosion in Harrisonburg in the fall of 2020 and went to Washington D.C. to broadcast Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration.
Allison was promoted to anchor and managing editor. During his final year in college, he reported at News Talk 92.1 FM/550 AM at WSVA. In radio, he interviewed figures like ex-Virginia governor, Ralph Northam and current Virginia governor, Glen Youngkin while on the 2021 gubernatorial campaign trail.

After graduating college, Allison went to August, Georgia in January 2022 and started his career working as a multimedia journalist at News 12/26 WRDW/WAGT. He eventually climbed the ranks to city government beat for Augusta-Richmond County and anchor the weekend evening newscasts.
During his time in Augusta, Allison won a GABBY Merit “Best Newscast” Award for his live reporter in 2022 during a hostage standoff. He was nominated for a Southeast EMMY “Daytime/Evening Newscast” Award for his 2023 live report during a school shooting.
