Cynthia Bailey is an American Model, television personality, and actress who is best known for starring in The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She joined the show as a cast in the year 2010.

Bailey was born and raised in Alabama but at the age of 18, she moved to New York City to pursue a modeling career. There, Bailey signed a five-year contract with Wilhelmina Models and later appeared as a model in several magazines and advertising campaigns. Additionally, she worked as a runway model in Paris and Milan.

In freshman-level courses, Bailey enrolled at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and as well competed in local beauty pageants. Bailey was the first African American homecoming queen at Deshler High School. She participated in a homecoming queen pageant after winning the event.
