He then relocated to Sherman-Denison, Texas, where he was a weekend sports anchor and eventually sports director. In this role, he broadcasts to much of Southeast Oklahoma.
During his sports career in Southeast Oklahoma, he broadcasts high-profile occasions, including Big XII Championships, the Red River Showdown, as well as Oklahoma and Texas state championships. He even traveled to Augusta for Tiger’s win at the Masters in 2019.
Following his time in Southeast Oklahoma, Lindblad worked for KOZL in Springfield, Missouri, as a sports reporter and anchor for 3 years. There, he broadcast the St. Louis Cardinals’ trip to the NLCS, the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl run, and Missouri State.
