Daniel Cudmore is a Canadian actor and stuntman who was born on January 20th, 1981 in Squamish, British Columbia. His parents are English. He is the son of Sue Bailey, who works for the British Columbia Film Commission, and Richard Cudmore, a doctor.
He has two brothers and he is the middle of the three boys. He attended Gannon University and he was a member of the football team from 2000 to 2002. He played as a forward for the Capilano Rugby Football Club in Vancouver.
Jamie Cudmore, his brother, is a member of the Canadian Rugby World Cup team. Luke, his younger brother, plays for Capilano RFC.

He played Piotr Rasputin in the X-Men film series. He also played Volturi Felix in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
On July 11, 2012, it was confirmed that Cudmore would portray Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 in the live-action Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn web series.
He replayed his role of Colossus in X-Men: Days of Future Past. He announced that he would not return as Colossus as much as he was going to be in Deadpool. He refused the offer as he was told that his role would be voiced by a different actor.
