Dave Benton Biography
Dave Benton is an American Anchor and Reporter working for WCHS-TV in Charleston, West Virginia as a News Reporter. He joined the station in March 2011 after working for KBIM-TV.

Benton obtained his high school education at Ceredo-Kenova High School. After finishing high school, he continued learning at Marshall University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Broadcasting and minored in Spanish. Such commitment to deliver local news made him popular among the audience, and he was well-known among the people. During this time, he reported on many stories; however, one is particular: the shooting of ‘We Are Marshall movie,’ the story about the Marshall University plane crash, a story close to the people’s hearts. He was able to interview stars and local people depicted in the movie and attend premieres in Huntington and Hollywood.
Off camera, Benton lives in West Huntington, and he has a job of taking care of two pets; a golden retriever known as Libby, and a cockatoo known as Lucy. Furthermore, he loves to travel, cook, and most importantly spend time with his family and friends.
