David Edelstein is an American anchor and reporter working at WJTV where he serves as the sports anchor and reporter. He has been working for the station since joining in April 2022. He previously worked for WUTR where he served as a sports anchor and reporter till his departure in April 2022.

Edelstein serves as the sports anchor and reporter at WJTV 12. He went to Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where he graduated in May 2019. He previously worked for  WUTR/ WFXV/ WPNY in Utica, NY where he also served as a sports anchor and reporter and enclosed history-making runs for high school and college teams.

He also enclosed the National Baseball Hall of Fame and highlights local athletes of all levels. Edelstein also worked at NBCUniversal for the Rockland Boulders baseball team; the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics; and d OrangeFizz.net, enclosed football and Syracuse basketball on The Score 1260 CBS Radio.

He has also managed to be honored and recognized by several organizations including his work across broadcast and digital media. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. In addition to that, he was also voted MVP of the Utica Frisbee Club on May 23, 2021, for Week 2 of its 2021 season.
