Jonsson joined the cast of Mary Stuart at the Almeida Theatre as William Davison after he graduated from RADA, marking his professional stage debut. After the production transferred to Duke of York’s Theatre in early 2017, he had his debut on West End. That same year, he starred in Don Juan in Soho in the West End opposite David Tennant at Wyndham’s Theatre.
