Shepherd works for WTWO as a producer and co-anchor of WTWO Today at 6 and 6:30. Also, he produces WTWO Sunrise. He has worked as a broadcast journalist for more than 10 years. He started his professional career at WTWO in 2008 as a reporter, fill-in anchor, and producer. During his first year as a reporter, he won the Indiana Broadcaster’s Association “Spectrum Award” in the General News category.
Shepherd left WTWO for a reporting position at WEHT-TV in Evansville in 2010. There, he was swiftly promoted to weekend anchor and political director for the firm’s new “Your Local Election Headquarters” brand. In 2013, he went on a hiatus from TV to pursue his other passion, radio broadcasting.
