Wright traveled through Africa and South America with Pope Francis and traveled with Pope Benedict in Europe and the Middle East. He also broadcast Barack Obama’s unforgettable run for the presidency, traveling with Obama for more than half a year. He covered Republican maverick John McCain during the general election in 2008.
