Dee Armstrong is an American News Anchor. She anchors weekday evening newscasts and hosts The Dee Armstrong Show on Facebook Live. She has weeknights at 6 pm on WLTZ First News, at 10 pm on WLTZ First News on The CW Ga-Bama, and at 10 pm CT on WLTZ First News Alabama.

Armstrong is an anchor on the weeknights at 6 pm on WLTZ First News and at 10 pm on WLTZ First News. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Georgia State University in 1985. She has been doing the privilege of doing that for the past 40 years as a television reporter, news anchor, and talk show host. Armstrong started Television Anchoring at the age of 19, She was the youngest weekend news anchor on the air in the country at the time.

She had to be humble to realize when she was named the most-liked news anchor in the Columbus, Georgia market for the last several decades. Armstrong blows her mind when she reviews a list of awards and recognitions. She had a resolution awarded to her by the Georgia State Legislature and the U-s Congress for her leadership in the newsroom and community at large.

Armstrong has been named in the list of a few African American Female role Models of the year in Columbus, the Courier Eco-Latino Distinguished Service Award, and Woman of Integrity. She is the president of the local Alopecia support group that raises money for children with severe hair loss and a frequent speaker at churches and community groups. Armstrong hosts a Saturday morning prayer group for parents on Facebook Live.

She has been a success in taking gold properties and renovating them turning them into nice clean affordable housing and looks forward to many more projects to come. Armstrong has appeared in two feature films, produced by Ty Manns, the air on cable television  “The Wish” and “My Brother’s Keeper”.
