Deric McCabe is an American actor who is best known for his role as Charles Wallace Murry in Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of the fantasy novel A Wrinkle in Time (2018).

McCabe was chosen out of thousands of child actors after seven months of searching. He has also appeared on Stephanie (2017) and Hold On (2019). In 2020, McCabe will be starting on Home Before Dark which will premiere on April 3, 2020. The series follows “a young girl who moves from Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind.

While there, her dogged pursuit of the truth leads her to unearth a cold case that everyone in town, including her own father, tried hard to bury.” McCabe will star alongside Brooklynn Prince, Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller, Kiefer O’Reilly, Louis Herthum, Michael Weston, Kylie Rogers, Aziza Scott, Adrian Hough, Joelle Carter, and Jibrail Nantambu.
