Kline is currently working at KOCO 5 News where he has been serving as a First Alert storm chaser since April 2020. He has a storm chasing the experience of more than two decades. The experience includes reporting more than 400 tornadoes and over 10 hurricanes. He even went on the north side of a tornado on his first day of chasing. It was an amazing achievement in the storm-chasing community.

Kline’s passion for weather led him to create Hail Trace LLC. It is his own weather consulting company in 2010 that focuses on weather forensics and real-time severe weather tracking. During his free time, Kline enjoys spending time with his wife and four children or pursuing his other true love, storm chasing.
