Diana Ross is an American Singer & Occasional Actress who is best known for her hit Pop and R&B songs such as “Love Child”, “Baby Love”, “Come See About Me”, “Where Did Our Love Go”, and many others. She is also known as a former member of “The Supremes” (a vocal group).

During her time at Cass Technical High School, she involved herself in a number of extracurricular activities such as swimming. In the year 1960, she began working as a busgirl for a Detroit store, and the extra income she got she used to provide hairdressing services for her neighbors.

When she was 7 years old, her mom got a serious TB (tuberculosis). Ross was named “Diane” by her mom but there was a mistake when filing out her birth certificate, and her name came out as Diana.

Ross became famous when she served as the lead singer of “The Supremes” (a vocal group). In the ’60s, the group was the most successful act in Motown.
