Diana Zoga Biography

Diana Zoga is an American reporter and anchor working for NBC 5 News KXAS-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth. She joined the station in October 2017 and serves as the consumer reporter.

Diana Zoga Career

She serves at NBC 5 Responds as the consumer reporter. Zoga helps North Texans resolve their consumer complaints and understand their rights. Prior to joining the NBC 5 News team, she worked at stations in Sherman, Texas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and St Louis, Missouri as a reporter. After graduating from Plano East Senior High School where she earned her High School Diploma in General Education, she had to further her education.

She joined the University of Texas at Austin to pursue her career course. In the late 1990s during the war in Kosova, much of her family had to escape to refugee camps to survive. She often scoured news stories looking for any sign of her relatives and news coverage became critical. Zoga was inspired by the experience to get into journalism.

Her career helped her to work for FOX 4 News KDFW-TV as a reporter from 2007 to 2015. While there, she exercised her journalism skills in writing, shooting, and editing content and promoting it on all platforms. She also served as a general reporter working primarily for 9 pm and 10 pm, weekday newscasts and fill-in anchor during weekday and weekend evening newscasts.

She also worked for KMOV in Greater St. Louis as an anchor and reporter for two years from 2005 to 2007. During her working time there, she anchored weekend morning newscasts and filled in on weekday newscasts. In addition to that, she anchored and reported breaking news and weather during major events, including Ferguson coverage in 2014.

Prior to that, she worked at KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a news reporter. In the course of her time there, she developed lasting relationships with community partners, was invited to speak at public events, and represented the company in a positive way. Collaborated with photojournalists to produce compelling and creative content and juggled breaking news for multiple shows: 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm. Moreover, she maintained strong contacts on a competitive crime beat. She also worked at KXII as a reporter.
