Dillon Gaudet Biography

Dillon Gaudet is an American certified meteorologist currently working as the weekend Meteorologist and a sports reporter for WBOY. He joined the station in April 2016. 

Following graduation, he went to the California University of Pennsylvania to pursue his childhood passion of majoring in meteorology. Dillon’s interest in media expanded throughout his time at CAL U after he became associated with California University Television and WCAL, the university’s student television, and radio station. Dillon graduated from CAL U in May of 2019 and began working for WBOY in August of the same year.

Dillon won WBOY’s Jason for a Day Contest in 7th grade, which allowed him to do the evening weather alongside former WBOY chief meteorologist Jason Parrish. Winning this competition piqued his interest in becoming a meteorologist. Dillon was a football, basketball, and baseball player at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. Gaudet spends his free time watching NASCAR, rooting for the Mountaineers, and traveling the state.
