Doug Dunbar is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who is currently working at CBS 11. He serves as the co-anchor of the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscast. In addition, he joined the CBS 11 team in April 2004.

Dunbar is currently working at CBS 11 where he serves as the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. anchor. He likes to bring news that affects his life to Dallas-Fort Worth, but he also wants to make a real difference in the world. As part of the Training Team Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team, in 2016, Doug was participating in the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Doug raised $156,000 to battle cancer of the blood after he had completed his quest in more manner than one of his lives. Doug has received several Emmy awards and was honored for his work in 2014 for reporting on the emotional return of local day veterans to Normandy, France, through a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
