Dylan Playfair is a Canadian actor who rose to prominence with his role as Reilly in the comedy series, Letterkenny. Letterkenny premiered in February 2016 and will air its twelfth and final season on December 25, 2023.

Playfair graduated from Vancouver Acting School and began his career in children’s film and television. Since 2014, he played the role of Knox in YTV’s Some Assembly Required for 3 seasons till the show was cancelled. In 2017, he started starring in the role of Gil the Pirate in Disney’s Descendants franchise.

Frequently, Playfair has played roles that involve hockey because of his skating skills. In 2013, he starred in the role of Marty Howe in Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story. He started appearing in Crave’s Letterkenny as Reilly. Roxanne worked as an entrepreneur and stay-at-home mom while Jim previously played hockey in the NHL and was an ice hockey coach. Also, his uncle, Larry was a professional ice hockey player. Larry played for the Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings in the NHL. Since retiring in 1990, he has worked as a color analyst for Sabres television broadcasts.
