Ed McIntosh is an American meteorologist working for KTVQ as a morning and noon meteorologist since joining the station in May 2010. Previously, he worked as a morning personality for Gap West Broadcasting and Townsquare Media, as well as KULR’s chief meteorologist.

McIntosh works for KTVQ as a morning and noon meteorologist. He received the chance to host a broadcast of a parade on TV when he was working as a disc jockey on a radio morning program. His co-anchor who organized the event was called away when an accident occurred. Thus, he was left to host the show alone. For approximately 20 minutes, he talked about everything and anything since the parade had stopped. A few months passed and he received the chance to work as a weekend weather personality. At the time, he realized that he could endanger the contractor and his crew their lives if he gave the wrong answer. After talking about the weather for over a decade, he has discovered that his job helps people make decisions about significant things like taking a trip, staying safe, picking out clothes for the day, and daily plans.
