Effrage Davis is an American journalist working for KDRO as an evening weekend meteorologist since joining the station in May 2024. Previously, she worked for WQAD News 8 as a meteorologist and weather reporter for 2 years.

Davis joined Texas A&M University in 2016 after finishing her high school education. In 2020, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences and a minor in Oceanography. While in college, she delivered newscasts for KAMU, the local PBS Kids TV station, and local radio stations KTRL and KAMU-FM.
Davis spearheaded research and a team on a project on the Correlation Between Lightning Activity and Precipitation with Hurricane Harvey, Tropical Storm Imelda, and a big 2019 flooding event in Houston as case studies. That research was presented at the American Meteorological Society Conference in 2020.
