Elisabeth Tharp Biography

Elisabeth Tharp is an American Producer/Anchor/Director working with Atmosphere News in Austin, Texas where she serves the station as a Sports Producer. She has been working with the station since April 2022. 

Elisabeth Tharp Education

Elisabeth earned her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 2019. She was Baylor Lariat’s Sports Director at the time. Elisabeth covered all of the university’s Big 12 and D1 sports. While there, she was actively working with Lariat TV News. She studied with the station between 2016 and 2019.

Tharp works with Atmosphere  News where she serves the station as a Sports Producer since April 2022. Previously, she was serving KAGS HD in Bryan, TX as an Anchor/MMJ. She worked with the team between February 2021 and November 2021. Prior to this, she was working with Quarter Moon Productions as a Sports2Nite Producer/MMJ. She worked with the team in San Antonio, Texas between July 2019 and February 2020.

Prior to this, she was working with The Baylor Lariat where she was serving the team as a Sports Director between January 2019 and May 2019. She has also previously worked with MSG Networks Inc. where she was serving the station as a 2018 Fall Student Associate in, Media Assets Department. She worked with the team in New York between September 2018 and December 2018.

Tharp has also worked as a Sports Intern with KSAT News in San Antonio, Texas Area. She was working with the station between May 2018 and August 2018. Previously, she was working with The Baylor Lariat where she was serving the station as a Lariat TV News Sports Reporter. She worked for the station in Waco, Texas Area between 2016 and 2018.
