Elizabeth Matthews is an American Reporter/Multimedia Journalist working at FOX 32 since joining the team in July 2015. Prior to joining FOX 32, she was working in St. Louis where she was a Multimedia Journalist at KSDK-TV.

Matthews is a reporter at FOX 32. She is a Columbia College graduate and is thrilled to be back in Chicago after working her way through the Midwest. Before FOX 32, she was a Multimedia Journalist at KSDK-TV in St. Louis. Prior to KSDK-TV, Matthews’ career took her to KTUL-TV in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and KOAM-TV in Joplin, Missouri.

Matthews is an awarding-winning journalist and was on the ground reporting on chaos when the riots in Ferguson, Missouri first broke out. She started her career at Joplin where she covered the Joplin tornado which is an experience she will never forget. When she is not working, she enjoys ballet, running, and hiking. Matthews also loves spending time with her friends and family.
