Elliott Polakoff is an American sports reporter working for KTVK-TV serving as a sports reporter and MMJ. He joined the station in January 2021, after working as a sports anchor at ESPN Radio in Bristol, Connecticut.

Polakoff attended San Francisco University High School in 2003 where he graduated in 2007 with a diploma. After that, he joined Michigan University where he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociocultural Anthropology and Communication Studies in 2011. Besides this, he also received a minor in Spanish and was a member of the 58 Greene A Cappella team.
Later on, Elliots furthered his studies at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University where he earned a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2013. While there, he served as a sports anchor at NCC News where he delivered news and edited videos. Polakoff got his first job at BDA Sports Management where he served as an intern and assistant office manager. He served the company for three months from June 2009 to August 2009.
After that, he joined Curves Change Up Ball in January 2010 working as a writer, marketer, and consultant. Later on, Elliott secured a position at KNBR Radio as an associate producer and sports personality. He worked for the station for seven months from July 2011 to January 2012. While still working at KNBR Radio, Polakoff was offered an opportunity to join KPIX, THE CBS5 affiliate in San Francisco. He worked there as a sports intern before being promoted to production assistant.

He also covered significant news mainly focusing on the Nutmeg State natives and Sportscenter updates. Earlier, Elliott served as a sports anchor and reporter at WFSB TV in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. During his time at WFSB TV, he reported extensive news including the Stanley Cup Finals and the Red Sox World Series parades.
Before working at WFSB TV, Polakoff worked as a sports director at KSNW-TV from August 2016 to August 2018. He began his journalism career at WHBF/KLJB-TV in Rock Island, serving as a sports anchor and MMJ. During his period there, he co-hosted a 30-minute live sports show and conducted interviews with coaches and players. For his work, Elliott was recognized by the AP Broadcasters Association for being the ‘Best Sports Report’ in the region. He worked for the station for three years from September 2013 to August 2016.
Polakoff previously spent two months working for Fox Sports in Berkeley where he served as a staff writer from July 2013 to August 2013. He also delivered visual content for BearTerritory.net and wrote scripts for the newscast. Prior to working in Berkeley, Elliott worked at WSYR News Channel 9 as a producer trainee from January 2013 to May 2013. He also produced numerous newscast stories and created various segments.
