Elyse Coulter is an American journalist working for WKEF as an evening news anchor since April 2023. Before that role, she worked as a morning news anchor for 6 years. She joined the station in October 2011 as a multimedia journalist and has served the station for more than a decade.

Coulter joined the Ohio State University in January 2004 when she finished her high school education. In March 2008, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Journalism and Theater.

Coulter has worked for WKEF as an evening news anchor since April 2023. Upon joining the station, she first worked as a multimedia journalist. Later, she was promoted to reporter, weekend anchor, morning anchor, and eventually evening anchor.
Coulter is thrilled to live in the Miami Valley, since the region reminds her of her hometown, Youngstown. She started her career early since she was already serving WSYX/WTTE in Columbus during her senior year in college. There, she wrote news stories for the 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts. Also, she was a fill-in multimedia journalist when needed.
After Columbus, she relocated out of the state for the first time in her life and went to Winchester, Virginia. In Winchester, she worked for TV3 Winchester as an anchor of the morning newscasts, which she also produced.
