Evan Thomas is an American builder and carpenter who is best known for starring on Bargain Block alongside his partner Keith Bynum. The show premiered Wednesday, April 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.

Thomas and Keith are transforming Detroit one home at a time on their own HGTV show, “Bargain Block” which premiered Wednesday, April 7 at 10p|9c. Bynum who is a designer and Thomas who is a builder and carpenter purchase rundown homes in the city through their firm, Nine Design, and Homes, and then completely flip them. They work around the clock to get their first houses up for sale on the block.

With help from their friend-lifetime Detroit resident and real estate expert, Shea Hicks-Whitfield, the couple buys as many rundowns and abandoned houses as they can on a single block and then rebuild them to create affordable, stylish, fully furnished starter homes that are ideal for first-time homebuyers.

Keith and Evan use their skills and creativity to rework and beautify the homes while ensuring that they remain affordable enough for buyers. The most interesting aspect of the series is that they take on projects in and around their home in Detroit. They are dedicated to their work and are proud of all that they have achieved in their journey.
