Evyn Moon is an American reporter working for WTVT-TV as a reporter since joining the station in October 2023. Earlier, she was a weekend correspondent and reporter at NewsNation Network in Washington, D.C.

Shortly after graduating from high school, Evyn went on to join Florida University where she received a Master of Arts in Media Studies and Mass Communication. She also attended UF’s Journalism College where she graduated with a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism. During her time at college, she worked as a digital media studies and scheduling assistant from January 2015 to May 2016.

Prior to joining the station in October 2023, she worked in Washington, D.C. as a weekend correspondent and reporter at NewsNation Network. While there, Evyn covered national political stories such as the Capitol Hill and the Trump and Biden served administrations from the White House. Earlier, she spent ten months as a producer and assignment editor at Fox Business Network in Washington, D.C.

Before moving to Washington, D.C., Moon worked as a national desk for six months at CBS News and was promoted to evening producer and digital reporter in January 2019. Previously, Evyn worked for WUFT News as a technical director and director for nearly two years. Later on, she secured a position as the main anchor and reporter, covering major news at WUFT-TV.

Moon started her career at WCJB TV20 in Gainesville, Florida as a web editor and associate producer. She was also in charge of creating graphics, helping the producer, and writing web articles. Before that, Evyn served as a reporter at NBC News Today Show from June 2017 to August 2017. Besides this, she worked for WSB-TV in Atlanta as an intern for four months. Later on, she was hired as a morning edition anchor and producer at NPR.
