In 2014, he changed to work in a newsroom, expanding his career as a storyteller and making a difference through his broadcast journalism work. An aspiring filmmaker and actor, he attended the Oscars and Golden Globes and has interviewed over 300 celebrities spanning Hollywood and Bollywood. For example, he broke bread with Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Tom Cruise, and Idris Elba while he served in the assistant director’s department on “Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol” and “Star Trek Beyond.”

Even though he was born and raised in Dubai, Javed is familiar with cold weather as he attended college in Buffalo New York. He aims to attain a purple belt, and a private plane license in the next 3 years, and establish a charitable foundation to help the disadvantaged.
