Wang volunteers and supports the Make-a-Wish Foundation. During her time there, she met a young woman, Sammie, who once was a Wish Kid turned ambassador. Sammie helped other kids and raised funds in the fight against cancer. Unfortunately, she passed away after her cancer resurfaced briefly after she graduated high school. Raising enough money to fulfill another kid’s wish served as Sammie’s last request. Over $165,000 was raised which set a state record in the Foundation’s history. During her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends and trying out new restaurants.
