Frank Sulkowski is an American journalist working for WJCL as the sports director since joining the station in 2006. Previously, he served WFXL FOX 31 in in Albany, Georgia, as the sports director for 3 years.

Sulkowski joined Georgia Southern University in 1994 after finishing his high school education. In 1997, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Communications, and Media Studies.

Sulkowski works for WJCL as the sports director. In 2018, he transitioned to news at the station and began working as a news anchor. He’s known as “The Big Guy” throughout the region and is proud of not only reporting on the athletes in Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry but also actively supporting them.
Sulkowski previously spent 3 years as the sports director at WFXL FOX 31 in Albany, Georgia. He also served Northland Cable News in Statesboro, Public Broadcasting, and WPGA, the ABC affiliate in Macon, Georgia.

He was named the Connect Savannah Readers’ Choice for Best Sportscaster for eight successive years. The Special Olympics of Georgia honored him for Outstanding Media Coverage.
Frank annually develops and produces multiple 30-minute specials with subjects like PGA Tournament golf and local high school and college football. He served as the only local sportscaster to broadcast the Georgia Southern Eagles’ first bowl appearance from their exit through their return.
