Gail Levy Biography

Gail Levy is an American journalist working for WSVN 7News as a general assignment reporter. She joined the station in July 2023. Previously, she served WINK News in Fort Myers as a news reporter for 3 years.

Levy attended Florida State University in 2014 after completing her high school education at Palm Beach Gardens High School. She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in English emphasizing writing, media, and writing.

Levy works for WSVN 7News as a general assignment reporter. She joined the station in July 2023. After graduating college, Levy worked in Panama City Beach. While there, Hurricane Michael hit the region for months after she joined the station. Further, she discovered the power of journalism and how it helps people by getting needed resources to a region in need. For broadcasting the storm, she received an Associated Press award.

Following her time in the Panhandle, Levy relocated to Fort Myers where served WINK News as a news reporter. During her time in Fort Myers, she broadcasted various stories including the Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie trial, the gubernatorial election, and significant stories in the community prior to, during, and following the landfall of Hurricane Ian.

Levy is thrilled to call Miami home where she tries out new restaurants and goes to workout classes to even up eating all the delicious food in the city. Moreover, she takes her cocker spaniel, Maggie-Mae to the restaurants she visits and everywhere aside from work.
