Garrett Drake is an American journalist working for WTWO as a weekend sports anchor and reporter since he was promoted in February 2025. He joined the station in March 2024 as a sports and news multimedia journalist.

Drake joined Indiana University in August 2020 after finishing his high school education. In May 2024, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Media. While in college, he delivered color commentary for Big Ten Plus PBP. In this role, he covered Hoosiers field hockey, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and softball games.
Drake worked as the director of media operations and play-by-play commentator for the 2024 ACHA M2 national champion IU Club Ice Hockey team for three seasons from 2022-24. He also broadcast the cross-country beat for IU Student Television.
