Ginger Allen is an American Multimedia Journalist working for CBS 11 in Fort Worth, Texas as a Senior Investigative Reporter. She joined the CBS Corporation in May 1999 after working for WLWT-TV, and NBC News Channel.

Allen works as the Senior Investigative Reporter for the CBS 11 I-Team. She has become a renowned investigative reporter whose assignments led her across the country’s geographical regions covering occasion wrongdoings, tracking trials, and aftermaths of hurricanes. Allen entered into KTVI-TV in the year 1999 as a general assignment reporter. In November 2000, she transitioned to the station’s investigative team and anchored the Saturday and Sunday editions of the CBS 11 News at 5 pm and 9 pm weekdays, and 12 pm, 3 pm, and 6 pm on weekends. Later in June 2007, she transitioned into being a Morning Anchor of CBS11 News 4:30-7:00 am and fill-in anchor of CBS 11 News at 4, 5, 6, and 10 PM.
Before coming to CBS 11, Ginger held the position of general assignment reporter and a fill-in anchor at WLWT-TV station in Cincinnati and was an NBC News Channel correspondent traveling around the country for NBC affiliates in big story events. She also anchored and co-hosted programs for KBAK TV Bakersfield, California as well as KMIR-TV Palm Springs. Moreover, she performed as a field producer and researcher at KCBS-TV.
Additionally, she has bestowed the organization’s topmost awards such as The Grand Prize Stephen Philbin Award for continuing to probe into suspicious deaths and medical facilities in a Texas State Jail. Allen has also received an Edward R. Murrow Award after helping a North Texas mother track down lost cord blood.
