Grant Goodeve is an American actor and television host born in 1952 in Connecticut, U.S. He is best known for his starring role as David Bradford in the television series Eight Is Enough, from the year 1977 to 1981. Grant was also the one who sang the theme song for the show. 

He has numerous guest starring roles and co-star credits in television movies. Grant also appeared for two seasons on Northern Exposure as Maggie’s boyfriend Rick Pedersen (1990-1992).

For 15 years, Grant has been the host of the NW travel show, “Northwest Backroads” which is currently running in the Pacific Northwest on KING TV Seattle. He has also been host of the popular HGTV series If Walls Could Talk, and Homes of Our Heritage.

Grant also makes his living as a voice-over artist where he has voiced documentaries and video presentations for many companies and corporations. Grant also lent his singing voice to Bob Rivers’s Twisted Christmas series of holiday CDs.
