Grant Gustin is an American actor and singer who gained fame for starring in the role of Barry Allen / The Flash in CW’s The Flash from 2013 to 2023. Also, he appeared in the Arrowverse and starred as Sebastian Smythe on Fox’s Glee.

Gustin studied at the Governor’s School for the Arts program in Norfolk for musical theater while he was still a high school student at Granby High School. Further, he attended Hurrah Players Incorporated, a theater organization in Virginia. After graduating high school at Granby High School in 2008, he joined  Elon University in North Carolina and enrolled in the Music Theater Program. He graduated with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre after studying there for 2 years.

In 2012, Gustin starred in A Mother’s Nightmare in the role of Chris Stewart. In 2014, he starred in Affluenza in the role of Todd Goodman. He starred as Campbell Ogburn in Krystal in 2016. In March 2020, he became a cast member of Operation Blue Eyes in the role of Barry Keenan.

Nevertheless, the backdoor pilot plan was replaced by a standalone pilot titled The Flash. He played the role of Barry for 184 episodes from 2014 to 2023. The series wrapped up after running nine seasons.

Barry is a crime investigator who attained superhuman speed. After gaining his speed, he fights criminals with others who also gain superhuman abilities. He adorns a superhero costume when fighting criminals and uses the name, Flash due to his speed, so that he can protect his identity and his family members in case a villain tries to get revenge after he catches them.

In 2017, Gustin performed the song Runnin’ Home to You in the series’ special episode, Duet. As part of the huge Arrowverse, Gustin recurred the role of Barry Allen on Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, and the web series Vixen.
