Greg Rule Biography

Greg Rule is an American meteorologist working for WINK News as a meteorologist. He joined the station in January of 2020. Previously, he worked for WeatherNation in Denver, Colorado as a morning meteorologist from January 2019 to January 2020.

Rule attended Metropolitan State University of Denver after completing his high school education at Cardinal Gibbons High School. He graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Meteorology and a Mathematics minor. Further, he studied Engineering at Florida State University.

Rule works for WINK News as a meteorologist. He joined the station in January of 2020. Previously, he worked for WeatherNation in Denver, Colorado as a morning meteorologist from January 2019 to January 2020. For 5 years, he served KREX NewsChannel 5 in Grand Junction as the chief meteorologist.

For his work, Rule has received Grand Junction’s “Best of the West.”He served KWES in Odessa/Midland, Texas as a weekend meteorologist and weekday weather producer for one year. He interned with Chief Meteorologist Mike Nelson at KMGH. During his time at KMGH, he produced weather graphics, learned the biz, and toned his craft.
