Griffin Glasscock Biography

Griffin Glasscock is an American meteorologist working for WEVV as the chief meteorologist and anchor for 44News This Morning since joining the station in May 2020. Previously, she worked as a morning show producer in Louisville, Kentucky.

Griffin Glasscock Education

Glasscock joined the University of Southern Indiana in 2011 after finishing her high school education. In 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Radio and TV.

While in college, Glasscock was involved with the Women’s Golf Team and Delta Zeta Sorority. She was also a producer and reporter at SETV 12. She also interned at 14 WFIE and Neace Lukens.

In 2017, Glasscock joined Mississippi State University to further her studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences and Meteorology in 2020.

Glasscock works for WEVV as the chief meteorologist and anchor for 44News This Morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Also, she spearheads coverage during severe weather events. Before moving to the anchor desk, she was a meteorologist for the morning newscast.

Glasscock is familiar with the station, having launched her career here as part of the original team that relaunched WEVV news in 2015. Following her first stint, she moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she was a news producer at Alabama’s 13, WVTM. She also produced the morning show in Louisville, Kentucky.
