Heather Hays Biography

Heather Hays is an American Anchor working for FOX 4. Hays graduated summa cum laude from the Chaminade University of Honolulu with a BS in Behavioral Sciences thinking she wanted to be a sports psychologist.

She has been crowned Miss Hawaii USA – and as well had an outstanding year – making hundreds of appearances for organizations like the Peanut Butter Ministry and Child Abuse Prevention – with everyone from Bob Hope to Kenny Loggins. After competing in Miss USA (and losing to her dear friend Shannon Marketing!), she received her Master’s from Boston University in Television and Film.

Hays’ real first “real job” was in Yakima, Washington, where she was “Heather with the Weather.” Next stop – Green Bay Packers territory! She is a huge Cowboys fan but she loves watching a game at Lambeau Field when it’s 10 degrees below zero and snowing! Her love of the game has been a thorn in Mike Doocy’s side for years. Hays also got to cover the Packers’ Super Bowl victory in New Orleans and their repeat run for the title in San Diego.

During football season, she makes her NFL picks with Mike and the rest of the sports team on “Football Sunday.” She also was crowned champion three years in a row which was Super Bowl Three-peat!  AT Poteet High School, Hays received the National MADD Award in Washington, D.C. after two outstanding photographers and she covered the student-organized “Shattered Dreams” event.
