Hollani Davis is an American journalist of African descent working for WPTV/WFLX F0X 29 as an anchor on weekday mornings on “Today on 5” from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. She joined the station in 2014. Previously, she worked for WDBJ7 in Roanoke, Virginia as a reporter and weekend anchor.

Davis’ career started when she worked in Abilene, Texas at KTXS before she relocated to Roanoke, Virginia, where she served WDBJ. While there, she obtained the skill of broadcasting politics and secured interviews with figures such as previous president Barack Obama and president Virginia Governor Mark Warner.
During her 2 decade career, she has received multiple awards. For example, the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists granted her its 2022 “Anchor” award. Additionally, she has won several Emmy awards.
Aside from journalism, Davis spends her time working as an MC on different community occasions and mentoring youth. Also, she supports Black Maternal Health and families with precocious babies. She serves as a member of the Jack and Jill Palm Beach Chapter and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Moreover, she works for the Girl Scout Council of Southeast Florida as a Girl Scout troop.
