Jaclyn Allen is an American Emmy-winning Denver7 Weekend Anchor and Consumer Investigative Reporter. You can watch her on the weekends at 5 pm and 10 pm and during the week.

Jaclyn Allen Education

Allen attended the University of Oklahoma where she graduated summa cum laude with degrees in journalism and music. Additionally, she studied abroad in France and speaks (sort of) fluent French.

Allen joined Denver7 in January 2007 and since then she has had a front seat in Colorado history, reporting on everything from floods and fires to the stunning growth in The Centennial State to marijuana legalization. Over the years, Allen has inspired people to live their best lives and helped change laws, and right wrongs.

She was awarded a Heartland Emmy for her Human Interest reporting in 2018, she has been nominated for a total of 20 Emmy awards. Jaclyn has as well won CABJ awards for Investigative Reporting and News Reporting. Prior to coming to Denver, Allen reported and anchored in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Sherman, Texas. While in college, she was working as a research assistant and associate producer in Oklahoma City.

When she is not working, Allen enjoys hiking or skiing in the mountains, doing yoga in the park… or trying to fix something else that is broken at her house. Additionally, she has lots of nieces and nephews she adores in an unreasonable way.
