Jacob Wycoff is an American Meteorologist working for WBZ-TV serving as a weekend morning meteorologist. Previously, he served as a meteorologist at 4, 5, and 6 pm on Western Mass News in Springfield.

Wycoff went to school in Connecticut and later on, he enrolled at Western Connecticut State University in 2004 where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in theoretical and operational Meteorology in 2009. He is also a member of the Newman Club, the American Meteorological Society, and the National Weather Association.

Earlier, Jacob worked for the Western Mass News in Springfield as a meteorologist at 4, 5, and 6 pm. He spent five years and three months working for the station from June 2015 to August 2020.
Prior to working for the Western Mass News, Wycoff served as a meteorologist at WeatherBug in Germantown. He also reported a wide range of news including hurricanes Isaac, and Irene, and several tropical systems. Previously, Jacob worked for WJAC-TV in Johnstown where he served as a freelance meteorologist. He served the station for four months from July 2014 to October 2014.
He began his career at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown working as a freelance meteorologist. Jacob worked for the station from July 2012 to August 2012. Before working at WHAG-TV, Jacob served as a weather intern at WTNH News from September 2008 to December 2008. He was also in charge of gathering weather news, editing, and creating graphics. While still working for WTNH News, he also worked at WBFF-TV as a weather intern. Earlier, Wycoff spent four months working as an intern at WRC-TV from May 2008 to August 2008. As an intern, he was responsible for providing news and pitching stories.
