After graduating from college, Cerreta landed her first TV job as a one-man-band reporter in Joplin, Missouri. She then worked in Springfield, Beaumont, and Oklahoma City. In 2013, she returned home to become part of Arizona’s Family.
Cerreta takes the responsibility of her craft seriously, getting in the trenches for the sake of credible storytelling! She has broadcast blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, and even filed live reports from inside a huge monsoon dust storm for Arizona’s Family. Also, she has won multiple Emmy Awards with her Arizona Family team for broadcasting the protests in Downtown Phoenix, monsoon storms, and the WM Phoenix Open.
Cerreta was also named “News Anchor of the Year” in both 2017 and 2018 by the readers of Arizona Foothills Magazine. Furthermore, she is a committed advocate for the Scottsdale League, Arts and Kaity’s Way, and the Alzheimer’s Association. Also, she is the law counsel for a competitive Pit Master and introduced a collection of “Loot ‘N’ Booty BBQ” sweets and rubber sauces.
