Before working in Tucson, Ramirez worked for KMIZ-TV as a multimedia journalist from May 2018 to December 2019. She also filled in as a producer and anchor where she was in charge of gathering news and editing videos. Jasmine began her broadcasting career at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri where she served as a multimedia journalist and reporter. She also covered a wide range of topics such as the presidential rally, flooding, and several tornadoes.
Besides moving to Columbia, Jasmine worked as an intern at KMBC 9 News in Kansas City, Missouri. While there, she helped produce web content, attended city meetings, and assisted reporters in daily shifts. She served the station for four months and then moved to Feature Story News in Brussels, Belgium. There, Ramirez served as an intern covering the European Union from May 2017 to July 2017. She was also responsible for editing radio scripts for Dubai Eye, FM4 Radio, 938 Live, and Radio New Zealand.
