Javier Soto is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter working for ABC15. He previously worked as News Anchor and Reporter on Good Morning Arizona where he worked for Arizona for the last 18 years.

Soto serves as the News Anchor at ABC 15 in Phoenix where he co-anchors the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside Katie Raml. He has also managed to enclose well-known stories that hit the headlines all across Arizona and beyond. He has enclosed several stories including the Jodi Arias murder trial, Senate Bill 1070, the Yarnell Hill Wildfires, and the contempt-of-court cases against Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Soto went to California State University, Long Beach where he attained his bachelor’s degree. After he graduated from college, he began his journalism career at KTLA in Los Angeles where he served as a producer. He worked for the station for several years and later on went to KPVI in Pocatello, Idaho where he served as an anchor as well as a reporter. Two years later, he moved on to work for KTVK Northern Arizona where he served as the Northern Arizona Bureau Chief. He was later promoted and started serving as the weekend anchor and later on morning anchor. He left the station and joined ABC15 where he started off by serving as a weekday evening anchor.

Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. In addition to this, he also enjoys exploring the city and traveling to different states and countries.
