Also, he broadcasted the World Trade Center attacks in New York on September 11th. For his 9/11 broadcast, he received a Peabody award. Rossen served ABC’s 20/20 as a network correspondent where he reported reports.
His broadcasting career began when he worked in radio at WBLI-FM on Long Island. He transitioned from radio to TV by working for the ABC affiliate in Utica, WUTR as a reporter. Later, he went on work for the ABC affiliate in Syracuse, WIXT as a reporter.
From there, he worked for the then-Fox affiliate in Detroit, WJBK. Additionally, he received an Emmy for “Deadline News Writing.”The U.S. Justice Department has often awarded him for his special report on crime victims.
