Jeff Russo is an American journalist working for WKBW as the 5 and 6 p.m. anchor at 7 News since 2015. Before that role, he served the station as a sports director, a role he earned in December 2007. He joined the station in 2003 as a sports anchor and reporter.

While in Nebraska, he won the Associated Press award for “Top Sportscast” in the state. Additionally, he won 6 six Nebraska Associated Press Awards.
After graduating from college, Russo launched his broadcasting career in Jamestown, New York. There, he served Time Warner Cable Channel 8 as a sportscaster and reporter from 1998 to 2001. He is excited to live in Buffalo and explore that Western New York has to offer.
